Kodeval
New
New home page: the three products are visible right away and each one has its own section. Kodeval Pages shows an explained code example, Raw the design of its catalog and Connections what the account brings. The story and the seven rules move up to the home page and the news becomes a list.
Improvement
The catalog, the separate Raw and Connections pages and the blog are gone, since they repeated what the home page already says. Old addresses take you to the home page or to each product’s section, and changes keep coming out on this page.
New
The whole site in English with the language button, including About us, system status, the 404 page, this changelog and the four legal texts.
Improvement
New palette: stone for the background, graphite for dark areas and Kodeval red for what you can tap. Each section’s header has a banded gradient that moves slowly and can be paused with a button; the choice is remembered.
Improvement
Accessibility: AAA contrast (7:1) on all text, a thick visible focus ring, every tap target at least 44 × 44 px, “Skip to content” on every page, and nothing moves if your system asks for reduced motion.
New
The brand guide, public at Brand: colors, typography, components, motion and voice. The logo adds a version for light backgrounds.
Improvement
Every page has its own image when shared, with its section’s title and color.
Improvement
The five account emails (confirmation, password, sign-in link, email change and code) arrive with the new design, dark mode included. Activity emails bring a link to unsubscribe without signing in, and it can be undone.
Fix
The contact form sends again.
Kodeval Connections 1.0
New
Your account, rebuilt: the sections sit in a side column (on phones, a fixed row at the top), with your photo, name and username always in view. Each section has its own address, so the back button works and you can share a direct link to Security.
New
Sessions: “Sign out of other sessions” keeps only the one you’re using, in case you signed in on someone else’s device or lost your phone.
Improvement
Changing your password takes two marked steps, with “Show”, the requirements in view while you type and a button to ask for another code. The code is sent on its own when you type the sixth digit.
Improvement
Preferences are saved as soon as you flip the switch. Your username asks for confirmation before changing, since you then have to wait 30 days to change it again.
Improvement
The photo can be picked with the keyboard too, every field has its label, notices appear next to each action and deleting the account says what gets deleted before doing it.
Improvement
Its own logo and favicon, Kodeval’s fonts (Space Grotesk and Inter) alongside Syne for the logo and the numbers, and AAA contrast on secondary text, links and notices.
Fix
The language button on your account did nothing: now it translates all of it. The sign-in page moves to neutral Spanish, like the rest of the site.
Improvement
Signing up asks for your birth month and year without saying the minimum age. The date is not stored.
Kodeval Interactive
New
Kodeval Interactive replaces Crimson Entertainment: Futbolle, No Mercy Streets and Pockies have their own site at interactive.kodeval.com, with its own identity and the same Kodeval account.
Improvement
The terms (version 3.4), privacy policy (3.7), community guidelines (1.1) and purchase policy (1.3) name Kodeval Interactive where they said Crimson Entertainment, and no longer mention the store or "My Crimson account", which are gone. In contact, the games service is also renamed Kodeval Interactive.
Kodeval Pages 0.6: what the new version brings
Kodeval Pages moves to a private alpha: it is closed while it gets finished inside and out. pages.kodeval.com already shows a preview. This is what it brings when it comes back:
New
KP Studio: a visual editor with the code always beside it. You build the page with pieces that have their own (Spanish) names: Caja, Pizca, Fila, Rejilla, Botón, Rumbo, Foto and Nota, every change shows up in the code right away and library modules come in with one button. It ships as an alpha, to use it and tell us what’s missing.
New
Device tester: your page inside four drawn devices from brands that don’t exist, the Pear pPad, the Pear pPhone, the Pear pPhone Couple and the Samsong X Fold, with the screen sizes of the real ones. They rotate, show their edge or their back, and the foldables open and close.
New
“Find your level”: 20 HTML and CSS questions, from easy to hard. It gives you a level from 1 to 10, what to learn next and which modules to practice it with. A wrong answer isn’t marked in red: it’s explained. The result stays in your browser only.
New
Kodeval Pages Kids: a way in for kids, with its own workshop where you change the page and watch the code change. More details when it’s ready.
Improvement
A home page made for using: search at the top, your level if you took the test, modules by group and the tools at hand. The introduction for first-time visitors gets its own page.
Improvement
A new library: modules grouped by type, with a drawing of each block, the technique you practice in each one and a search that understands words without accents. If it finds nothing, it suggests searches that do.
New
From 15 to 40 modules. Among the new ones: breadcrumbs, a phone menu, a sidebar, pagination, a gallery, numbered steps, a data table, a product card, styles for long-form text, a modal window, a tooltip, a switch, a search box, a swipeable carousel, star ratings, a progress bar, tags, avatars, a loading indicator and a type scale. Each with its explanation and ready for KP Studio.
Improvement
New module pages, with the real preview at different widths, the code ready to copy and a clear notice once it’s copied.
New
Light mode, which follows your system or can be picked with a button.
New
Suggest a module in three steps: the type of block, the idea and your email.
There’s no date yet. When there is, it comes out here first.
